When we arrived, wow! the place is stunning. It is a castle-like building with a courtyard attached. There is no problem with parking as that is plentiful too. We got out of the car and walked up the ... ...so helpful, I was amazed at how much they made you feel valued and it cost about £20 extra than a travelodge would.
We decided to try their leisure facitlies out, a pool, a jacuzzi, a gym and 5 heat rooms. One was a sauna, one a steam room, an aromotherapy room, a lights room (can't remember what the actual name was) and another which escapes me. This was exactly what you need for a nice relaxing weekend.

We chose this one as it had a wide range of facilities and was only an hour away from where we live so was a nice weekend break. When we arrived, wow! the place is stunning. It is a castle-like building with a courtyard attached. There is no problem with parking as that is plentiful too. We got out of the car and walked up the red carpet to the reception. The reception staff were so helpful, I was amazed at how much they made you feel valued and it cost about £20 extra than a travelodge would. We decided to try their leisure facitlies out, a pool, a jacuzzi, a gym and 5 heat rooms. One was a sauna, one a steam room, an aromotherapy room, a lights room (can't remember what the actual name was) and another which escapes me. This was exactly what you need for a nice relaxing weekend. The room was great- ample size and everything you need e.g. hairdryers, complimentary toiletries. We went in the bar aferwards which was really nice but quite expensive (glass of wine and a pint of beer approx £7). The breakfast was buffet style so you could help yourself to anything and everything. Would recommend if you want to feel like royalty for the weekend! Ideal location for hen weekends, weddings or just a relax.

My husband and I stayed at the hotel on a thursday night, i would highly recommend this hotel, the hotel is stunning, rooms are very clean and to a high standard, excellent value for money. The resturant is beautiful and the food is excellent every course delicious.
The staff at this hotel are superb cant do enough to help, courteous and polite. The leasure facilities are superb too! We will definately be staying again. Mr & Mrs Melia ...
