Advantages: excellant value for money Disadvantages: set on steep hill
...and breakfast stay, in a four poster, Jacuzzi suite and I would say this was well worth the money.
The dinner alone, in a restaurant in the South East where I live, would cost in excess of £70 in total, therefore, £85 per night, per room, including unlimited breakfast, for the suite we had, was excellent value for money.

It's also the home of the Beatrix Potter exhibition well worth a visit. HISTORY

The Swan was formerly a small, traditional guest house and the old part of the building dates back to the 18th century. THE HOTEL
**************
It has 55 bedrooms, 7 of which are in the old part of the building. The further 48 rooms, 6 of which are suites, are spread over two floors in the new wing of the hotel...
