Advantages: Superb service, good facilties, excellent food, reasonable prices Disadvantages: Not in the city, I was there on business
..., and many British outlets could do far worse than take a leaf out of their book.
ACTIVITIES CLOSE BY
The hotel runs daily free buses in the week to Sydney CBD and at the weekend into the city, although from talking to reception, you will have to be quick to get on.
The Sydney Olympic village is about 20 minutes from the hotel, and Bondi beach and where they film "Home and Away" are not too far away.
The Macquarie shopping centre is about 10 minutes walk away and offers a range of quality shops and eateries, including quite a few you will be familiar with from the UK. Advantages: You can see the most amazing view of the harbour. Disadvantages: it is a bit pricey, but it's absolutely worth it!
...the picture so it looked more appealing...
We couldn't be more wrong, when we arrived at the airport we got a car to the hotel, and I had never seen a better hotel location in ma life, it was exactly like the picture, maybe even better because I was really there, I got so excited, and Sydney has to be the best place for a holiday!

WATER – don’t forget water – the cars have air conditioning and it really dries you out. You can’t open the window either because the air is warm (unless you do this in winter).
***Setting Off***
Yawn. Another satisfying but unmemorable sleep in one of the many Rydges Hotels in Sydney and we were ready to start the journey...
