I didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on the food. I found it too be much friendlier and more homely than standard business hotels and it has more character than many places I have stayed in London.

There are lots of nice restaurants within a 15-20 minute walk, but not a great deal of choice in the immediate area (although there are some bars and restaurants). The hotel is well placed for visiting central London, and if the weather is nice, you can have a lovely stroll along the river side.
We paid approx. £95 per night for a double room (well, my boyfriend's firm did as they were the ones sending him on a course in London!). I personally thought this would be too much to pay myself if I was on a leisure break as I normally stay in cheaper hotels when in London. Having said that, it was one of the most friendly hotels I've stayed in in the UK.
Highly recommended for business or leisure travellers.
