I first encountered Madame Tussauds Waxwork in London when I was working as a tourist guide many moons ago and had the good fortune (or rather misfortune) to take groups of tourists to this attraction. It's fun the first couple of times but then you start to resent the place with a passion. Luckily the job only lasted a few years but it left me with a bitter taste in my mouth regarding this particular London attraction and no desire to ever set foot ... ...it up in town at Madame Tussauds Waxwork, mainly because they were the only ones who'd forgotten to up the price for the pass unlike all the other sites. Advantages: Amazing attention to detail, worth at least one visit. Disadvantages: The price, All the added extras you could spend £50 each easily

If you’ve not heard of Madame Tussauds it’s a large museum ... ...also features an exhibit of Madame Tussaud and a little bit of history on her as well. All in all this whole floor is probably the most interesting part of the tour, just don’t bother with the Chamber.
It’s then time to head back up stairs and in a similar principle to London Dungeons, Tussauds have a small ride for part of the museum. It consists of a continuous stream of cars all decked out to look like Black cabs, to take you round. Each car ...
