Madame Tussauds is the one place where you can meet all the famous stars, poloticians, sings, and all the rest all under one roof! Having visited Madame Tussauds, I was left dumfounded at the sheer beauty of some of these people!
The work that goes into making these wax models is absolutely amazing! You can meet anybody from Frank Bruno, to Lady Diana, to Sir David Attenborough. They are all here. All placed appropriately in their designated spots, some dead, and some still alive and kicking. I once saw on television how they get the measurements etc to make a model. There are literally hundreds of famous bodies all under one roof. The Beatles are all groups together in a tidy group, and many a people have had their photo taken with them. You will also find the likes of Charlie Chaplain, Kylie Manogue, the Royal family - todays lot, and past Royals, and many other famous sports persons and talk show hosts. You name it, they're there!
The Chamber of Horrors has to be one of the most interesting places in the museum to visit. But - it is very scary! You will see all the most evil and wicked people down here like the Yorkshire Ripper and Dennis Nielson. Joan of Ark is also down there where she was being burnt on the stake. The smell and sounds are truely frightening!
The most amazing thing of all is the cab ride. A slow, constant moving ride will take you through the life and times of London. From the modern day, the royal family, past and present, to years ago when there were (and still are), beggars on the streets. A story which is told is fascinating!
It does get very busy. The queues are always a mile long, and it does get very busy and crowded. I suppose it might be slightly less crowded in the winter months, but that is only the slight downside of such a popular attraction.
The costs are fairly high. For Madame Tussauds, it costs £12 for adults, £8.50 for Children, £9.50 for OAP's, and £39 for a family. For Tussauds and the Planetarium, it costs £14.40 for adults, £10 for Children, £11.30 for OAP's, and £49 for a family
Opening times are 9am - 5:30pm weekdays, and 10am - 5:30pm weekends. You can reach Madame Tussauds by travelling on the Underground to Bakerloo. Or you can catch bus numbers 13, 18, 27, 30, 74, 82, 113, 159, and 274.

Advantages: Indoors, quite a lot to see Disadvantages: It is a walk-through place, so not a place for little kids who might be overcome by the need to touch
