Preparing to be disappointed, following a visit as a youngster many years ago, I set off by popular demand from other half and kids to Madame Tussauds. There was, as ever, a considerable queue to get in. Having eventually got in, I was delighted to see that one of the first waxworks on display was Mr T! Many of the waxworks don't look too convincing, although there are a couple that look uncannily real. The kids were pleased to have their pictures taken with numerous 'stars' and overall the visit proved to be reasonable value for money. The Chamber of Horrors was a bit disappointing, was expecting more gore. Madame Tussauds could also provide a bit more information about the historical figures to provide a more educational experience so that one could learn more about the figures depicted.
