Advantages: Good food, Large terrace, good choice of drinks, Internet PC Disadvantages: Price, Location
Located 5 minutes from the impressive Santiago Bernabeu stadium, the Irish Rover is considered to far out by many to be included as a regular part of a night out. However, mid afternoon, and the Irish pub is packed out, playing host to many diners from the nearby business sectors.
The food at the Irish Rover is undoubtedly one of the main strong points, and the choice on offer is good (although vegetarians may struggle). The price is also great, ... ...(around 5 pound) per head. The bar also contains the usual mix of spirits and beers, along with Beamish Red and Guinness on pump among others.
The night scene is normally more packed come summer, when the massive terrace, shared with Moby Dicks, becomes a meeting point for groups of revellers. The Irish Rover also features live music often.
Set to the decor of an Irish street, with market, barbers, etc, the pub actually houses a small Irish Market ...
Advantages: A Great Night Out Disadvantages: Could be open longer
Oneills, basically I go to Oneills every weekend, most people only see Oneills as a bar, but the particular one here in Watford has a music room, and it totally rocks, it always gets packed, and no matter what on a Friday and Saturday night you can always guarentee their will be a que outside.
On a Saturday night Oneills have a top quality DJ called Tricky he is awsome, he certainly knows how to raise the roof, and get people drinking.
Theirs a ... ...to, to make them slightly more intresting, and everbody just knows the words.
Its kind of like a club to me and my mates, and we have noticed that the same crowd always congress down their week in and week out, but so many people are going back, which just shows its a quality place to go.
on a Friday night they have two DJ's and the theme is more on the 70's 80's and 90's music with some of today's but saying that it plays all the sort of music ...
Advantages: Nice presentation, pretty store Disadvantages: Expensive, bad clothes, needs more food
...opened recently in Spain, the Marks and Spencer stores were expected to be great and fantastic, and it was a bit of a disappointment to the people when the stores opened.
They found high quality, boring, very english goods for sale at some absolutely ridiculous prices. Most of the clothes stocked are good enough to make you be sick.
The shop, however, just like the one in Bilbao, is very well laid out. However, they are all full of 'giris' - or ... ...a bit like a top London store, with marble floors, a lot of glass and wooden fittings.
The Bilbao store is three stories high. It cost some 125,000,000 pesetas to build the shop. As always happens with M&S stores, however, the place is full of naff clothes, which are hated by the natives.
The food in M&S Spain is very good, however. Although only a small selection is available, they have chosen some of their best products which you rarely see in ...

El Parque del Buen Retiro de Madrid
The Park of "Retiro" is located in the heart of Madrid, the biggest Spanish city. It has become an essential lung for Madrid… and its inhabitants, who want to leave their hurried lives to take a little break in that wonderful park. It is the most important park of Madrid.
So this park deserves a visit if you ever go to Madrid, because it joins past and present, art, history and architecture. There ... ...than other, but walking along the avenues you can discover new little wonders; this park always offers something new.
In addition to it, I have to underline the privileged place that this park occupies. It is very closed to other important monuments of the city like Prado Museum, Alcalá Gate, Cibeles Square, Loyalty Square or Atocha Station.
History of the park
It was built thakns to the Count-Duke of Olivares, "Prime Minister" of Philip ...
Advantages: Beautiful surrounding, nice shops, good food at reasonable prices Disadvantages: Not really in the league of some of the museums, too many people exhibiting themselves
The Plaza Mayor is one of the most beautiful squares in the city of Madrid. It is surrounded by buildings, which are mostly around three or four stories high. On the ground floor of most of these buildings, there are restaurants and shops. The restaurants sell good food at fairly reasonable prices. The Plaza Mayor bustles with life and vigour; many people can be found exhibiting themselves, having sprayed themselves with silver paint and other such ... ...nearest metro station to the Plaza Mayor is Sol. Personally, I believe that the Plaza Mayor is a fantastic place to visit over lunch one day, where you can sit and enjoy the surroundings on the 'terrazas' in the square. However, if you are short for time and skip seeing it, I don't think that the Plaza Mayor is something that you will go home wishing you had of seen. ...
