Situated in Spain, Madrid, the Spanish capital, is today a cosmopolitan city with comparable structures to any other European capital.

It is a well-organized city, were you won’t find the usual confusion and problems characteristic of the big cities on the south of Europe.
It offers us a great quantity of centre of interest, from monuments to museums, from plaques to the lovely gardens and off curse, the marvellous shows witch we can have access to.

The city architecture makes us travel to different ages were you can see tracks of Arabs, Hapsburgs, from the XVIII century e the gigantic avenues and sidewalks characteristic from the XIX century.
Also to visit, you have the Madrid Wall, the Portas Del Sol (The doors of the Son) and the Segovia’s monument.
Museums are other of the interesting places to visit, like the city’s three “ex-líbris”, the Prado museum, the Thyssen Bornemisza museum and the National Centre of Art Reina Sofia museum.

Madrid is also known for its enormous quantity of parks and green spaces, which we can find them all over the place. We have the Buen Retiro Park that, due to its great dimensions, is considered the city’s lump.
Another place to visit is the Plaza Mayor, always full of street artists who paint and do caricatures to anyone who wishes and were you can buy souvenirs in the small shops in this XVI century’s place.

If you go there, don’t miss the handmade traditional pieces street market, the Rastro, which is on Sunday mornings on the Barrio de Lavapiès. There is everything from small bargains to really priceless antiques.

If you want to live the night…you are in the right place because Madrid is considered The European Night Capital. The place busiest places are between Portas del Sol, Praça de Santa Ana and Calle Huertas, with numerous bars, beer shops and restaurants and of curse, the typical madrilène environment, that you will only understand if you are there.

To go for a walk or have fun, if you want to go with the family, this city is a perfect place …
But if you are a culture lover then, this is just what you were looking for…
