The village hotel & leisure club in Wirral
Have recently joined here and at £32 per month, each, we feel we have a bargain. They even waved the joining fee, normally £70.
We joined, my wife and I, on the ?Flexi? promotion. This is where you are only tied in for 3 months as opposed to the ?Full? 12 month tie in.
Extras given include £15 to spend in their restaurants, 10% discounts in the bars and coffee shop and 2 free vouchers for friends/family. The vouchers entitle the user to a free week in the gym, pool etc worth £70.
If you recommend someone and they join you also get £50 of a nights stay in the hotel.
A fair few incentives but to be honest we just want to use the leisure facilities.

Advantages: Lots of character, Roman monuments, history Disadvantages: It's a long way away
So there we are, driving south on the motorway, heading for ARLES in Provence. The weather is not too great, it's overcast and everything is dull and grey. It's a long drive and it's not made any easier by my fellow road users. Is there some sort of French custom that I'm not aware of? Is it a requirement of passing a driving test in France that you have to be able to stray over the lines at frighteningly regular intervals, usually when some good natured, happy-go-lucky proxam-like character is overtaking them. SACRE BLEU! It's not all that difficult to steer a car between two white lines along a wide and straight road.
Anyway....we survived (obviously or who would have written about it - a ghost writer?).
About an hour from Arles the skies cleared, the sun broke through and it warmed up markedly.

Advantages: Lovely scenery, comfortable beds, nice leisure facilities Disadvantages: Pool not very family friendly with children only allowed certain times
't like was that we asked one of the workers what time we had to get out because of our daughter and he said 2 0 clock. Then at 12 0 clock we were told that we had to get out because children swimming times were over. We were not very happy because it felt like we were being thrown out. I think they had too many adult swim times and could have changed this to once a day.
The Health & Fitness Club has all the facilities needed to relax and unwind, including 25m heated indoor pool, Sauna, Steam room, Whirlpool spa, Jacuzzi and Sun showers There is also a fully equipped gym, Toning tables, squash courts and Spinning Studio.
