Advantages: Immaculate rooms, polite and courteous staff Disadvantages: Bathroom became rather hot and damp
...Spent three nights at the Europa Tyrol, and it was a very enjoyable experience. The hotel is located opposite to the mainstation in Innsbruck and is only a short walk to the shops and the Golden Roof which is at the heart of the city. The hotel is actually connected to the main railway via a tunnel which offers exclusive use for guests.

The staff were all polite and would tend to every need. The bar area was clean...

Advantages: The scenary, the mountains, the food, the air - everything! Disadvantages: If you are not a walker, you maybe could get bored - nah! It sometimes rains

Hiking (or walking) was the main part of our holiday, but we also used the trains to travel further afield. There are two train stations in Kitzbuhel. We went to Innsbruck (e24 return) and several small towns like St.Johann (previously mentioned) and Kufstein (e15). Needless to say the trains were clean and on time, a pleasure to use. The trains can take you to most places reachable in a day such as Salzburg, Vienna and Munich
There was much more for us to do as well, such as: Paragliding from the summit of the Hahnenkamm mountain (oh, my God! I've never shaken so much in my life, but it was well worth the e80 for the experience...

This is one of my favourite films. It's understated quirky black humour and it has a great cast, plus a sharp script by David Mamet.
