The Maison Dupuy hotel ofers everything you could want from a hotel stay in New Orleans. Situated 30-seconds from lively Bourbon Street, it is right in the heart of the French Quarter yet removed enough that the late-night partiers do not cause any intrusion.
Our room was spotless, comfortable (the beds were fantastic!), and overlooking the main courtyard below which housed the swimming pool, hot tub, and a seating veranda from which to sit with a drink and enjoy the Louisiana sunshine.
There are plenty of facilities on-hand as well, from restaurants and bars to free internet access and valet parking.
For the final few days of a long two-week trip, it offered us the perfect base to relax, recharge, and then head out to enjoy the unique delights of the French Quarter and New Orleans in general.
