Butlins in the sun!

Advantages: Plenty to do, good entertainment, great for children
Disadvantages: Some shabby accommodation, expensive supermarket

Firstly I must say that I booked this very last minute when there wasn't much more around, and after reading a lot of very mixed reviews, I decided that we would just put our heads down and go for it, and even though we got off to a bad start, I am relatively glad that we did. MARTHA SHOULD BE PROUD!!!

Advantages: lovely apartment, nice pool, great location
Disadvantages: it wasn't cheap

The Best Laid Plans

Advantages: Location, staff, level of service, food, facilities
Disadvantages: Crowds, soulless bars, some of the other guests...*ahem*!

Advantages: Immaculate hotel, great entertainment team, lovely location and superb food.
Disadvantages: Remoteish location, lacking room facilities and the damn bingo!

SIESTA 1 HOTEL, ALCUDIA - 'If you like food with heads on ....'

Advantages: Family friendly, great kids club and lots of things for children to do.
Disadvantages: little food to choose from at meal times and rooms were basic

...only main downfall to the Siesta 1 hotel as a whole was the food! There was only one restaurant to go to and it was in a pokey, tiny little room, which could only seat around 30 people at a time, meaning you were left queuing for sometimes up to fifteen minutes with hungry kids before you got to sit down and have your meal. Not to mention the choice of food to pick from was horrendous, most nights it was a choice of seafood stew or seafood paella, ...
