I recently had two weeks at this fishing village on the South-East
coast and it was beatiful. Although mostly for couples and older
people, there were still a lot of bars open until 3-4 in the morning
if you needed them. I stayed at the Cape Colom Hotel and couldn't
fault it at all. If I was going away with mates then it would probably be a bit quiet. There were very few nightclubs there but an 8 pound taxi ride to Cala d'or was worthwhile. Trouble is though, you can't walk along the street without a tout asking you to come in to their bar.
That did get annoying sometimes. No, I can safely say that anyone visiting will have a lovely relaxing time there. The area is very clean, the harbour is beautiful with some very large Gin palaces moored up there and the weather 99 percent of the time superb. If you can get a cheap deal like we had done then don't hesitate.
