Check In London- What check in? arrived on time no que and they where expecting us! Straight through no hassel.
Boarding Everywhere- As we had our 3 year old daughter with us we got to board first. This is great when you have to settle a youngster in.
Departure London- Delayed due to some concern with an engine. Better safe than sorry for me! No problem though we where kept on the aircraft and well looked after by the staff.
In Flight Entertainment LHR-KLI - Superb. Games, movies comedy kept me busy both ways.
Staff Everywhere - Great. Problem at K.L. on the outward trip to Penang. We arrived as specified by our travel agent and as collected by the transfer company only to be told we where late and that we could not sit together on the flight. This would not have been too much of a problem (it was only 45 mins) except that they would not let my daughter sit with someone she knew! In the end after much groveling and a telling off from the woman she let my wife sit with the little one. Not that good.
Meals - Poor. on the outward bound flight there was no childs meal. The staff informed us that they did not cater for children at Malaysia Airlines. We thought this strange but made do. On the return flight there where other children on board. Guess what? They got chidrens meals!!!! Luckily we had bought food this time for our little one at the airport. Disgraceful. Apparently our travel agent had booked the meals (Another review of them to come - Travelmood) but Malasia had not implemented the booking. Shoddy. Appart from that they where very tasty.
Aircraft - Clean, modern comfortable as far as long haul aircraft go. 34 inch leg room (3 more than the last time I flew with BA!)
Top Tips- 1. Confirm your seat for internal flights a day or two before departure. We got the rep to do it for us after the first debacle. Its not like the U.K. where you just rock up and on you go. Seats are allocated.
2. If traveling with children ensure before departure that they are going to provide a meal for them especially if they are as fussy as mine!
Conclusion - Not a bad airline, attention to detail and common sense could be applied a bit more. I would use them again as, on balance they got more right than wrong, AND they knock the socks of B.A.

Welcome. watch out for the spelling mistakes - getting the name of the airline wrong in the title and the text is a bit of a bad one. Otherwise, some good, brief advice and I suspect your problem with the meal is more down to your travel agent than the airline.
