I booked a flight with Malaysian Airlines in November 1999, departing from Brisbane, Australia and arriving in Heathrow airport London, United Kingdom. The whole flight took 25 hours and despite the time it took I enjoyed almost every moment. The food and drinks were great. The service was great. And the best part about it was that each chair had a liquid crystal display television. The TV had 6 movies, a music channel, and a video game console. Unfortunately the handset for the TV I was on was damaged and I couldn't use anything. I advised the stuardess of this and they moved me to another seat. How about that for service eh? All in all a good flight and a great decision.
