I have used Malaysian Airlines on quite a few occasions for business & pleasure to Malaysia & also within the country.
In all honesty there is very little to criticise them about, they use Jumbo jets for the UK to Malaysia flights & smaller aircraft for the domestic flights. The Jumbos are well equipped with individual screens behind the seats; they offer music, films & games using the wired hand held control you use for operating the system as a games controller. Legroom is standard 'cattle class', no better or worse than most other major airlines. The staff are very polite, helpful & efficient; they help to make the flights enjoyable & are very attentive when you need their service. The meals on board were at best OK, you will never go hungry or thirsty as they are always serving complimentary snacks & drinks & their in flight magazine made interesting reading.
I found the prices quite reasonable considering the distance I travelled check in staff in London, Kuala Lumpur & in Penang were efficient & they never lost my luggage, which is more than I can say for many other well known operators. Would I recommend them to anyone else? Yes, I certainly would.
