Sorry i go so carried way with the rest of the resort i forgot to mention the hotel, so i hope edited review helps.

We stayed in Limone in August 2006, We Didn't know what to expect as i book it on Last mintue.com , which cost £299 half board for 1 week and our hotel was allocated on arrival.

When we arrive at Verona Airport where a representive meet us at the airport and told us where we were staying at what coach to get, the transfer to the hotel was quite long but the scenery and the very chatty travel rep keep us amused. once we arrived at the hotel Europa we where greet by the friendly staff who explained meals times etc.

The hotel was a three star hotel, our room was small but the right size for us two very cleaning and cool, so there was no need for air con. as our room was at the back of the hotel we didnt have much of view as the the rooms did at the front, but this wasn't an issue for us as we didnt spend much time at the hotel. We were very pleased with the staff although they didn't speak much english they always understood us and any problems we had they resolved striaght away. the food was great, breakfeast was the usual cereal, toast juice but they didnt have cooked english breakfeast more continental type. Dinner was a three course meal starter, main and dessert you got given a menu to pick from every morning at breakfeast which was hand back to the staff. as my fiance is a very fussy eater a few times there wasnt anything on the menu that he wanted but this wasnt a problem as the staff were happy to make something else for him. There was a small swimming it was empty most of the time, we didnt get time to use it either. our overall stay at the europa was very comfortable and value for money.

The next day we had a meeting with our travel rep but we had to walk to a different hotel for this meeting, it was right on the lake front, which look really far on the map but it only tuck us 10 Minutes. the meeting with the rep was about verious trips such as Venice, Verona, Lake Tour etc. We booked most of them not realising when we walk back to the hotel there was a excursion office in the town that offer trips to water parks and theme parks, but we where still looking forward to our romantic trips to Venice and Verona. Do shop around before you booked trips the prices are roughly the same but you can find some more interesting trips to go on.

We had a trip that afternoon guide by our rep it was a cliff hanger lunch which showed us several hamlets that couldn't be seen unless to went by car up the mountains, once we got the the top we went to a hotel to have lunch and the rep volunteered my boyfriend to be master chef, i couldn't stop laughing at him when they dressed him up as a chef. This trip was interesting and enjoyable

The evening we had a trip to see a concert in Malcesine, which was over the water from limone. the boat ride over the water was nice but the breeze was cool as we got half way across there was a little thunder storm and it started to rain. when we docked into Malcesine the rain got heavier we then had to walk up a small cobled street to a castle by this point we were soaked. the concert was a guy playing cassical music on a piano for two hours which got abit boaring. we wouldn't go on thi trip again but i recommend checking out the town instead much more interesting.

We also did a trip to Verona and Venice. Verona had a roman amphitheatre where opera take place you can have look inside at a small cost the were plenty of cafes and resturants, but you find you pay more to eat outside than you do to eat inside there were a few designers shops and plenty of market stalls. we where given a map to show various places to visit. we visited Juilets balcony and a few churches. Venice was not how i expected it to be it was a long coach ride then we got on a boat, i was like a little island. Venice was very busy and really hot 34 degrees it was abit lie Verona Market Stalls Designer Shops and plently of sights to see once again we where given a map of all the sites to visit. we where recommend to book dinner and gondola trips with the rep as can you get ripped off. i would recommend these trips if your looking from something romantic as they have that stetting and feel about them.

We also arranged a trip by ourselves to a waterpark, we got the boat over to Malcesine and got a bus to the water park. we enjoyed this trip as it was different to site seeing all the time. but the only thing that put us off was the toilets which was a hole in the ground, you find this alot in Italy to get used to using the disabled toilets as they are normal. we where limited to tha amount of time we had at the water park as the boat stops at a certain time, so we had to be back in Malcesine. All the Theme parks and water park are nearer to malcesine so we decided to stay there next time we go.

Our last trip was the lake tour. it took us to all the different parts of the lake and different towns but out of all the towns we visited i prefer Limone or Malcesine they aren't big towns but there just something about them.

The overall holiday really enjoyable, we are even getting married in Malcesine castle in may so can't wait.
