Just like you see in the brochures

Advantages: Complete utter paradise, beyond your dreams
Disadvantages: None

I stayed here in January 2007 and I have to say it was pure paradise. We were taken to the island by seaplane. Once we got there we were welcomed by the friendly staff who gave us a refreshing non-alcoholic cocktail. Our bags were taken and we were shown our room and our bags arrived not too long after. This is what I loved about the island, the fact that it was small, and you could walk around it in 30 mins but it was quiet, peaceful and tranquil and you could find your own little quiet spot on the beach with noone else around. The way to paradise

Advantages: Great food, great people, plenty to see and do

Atoll Explorer

Advantages: laid back, lovely food,and drink brilliant staff, varyind scenery
Disadvantages: journey there

...have now been on the Atoll 3 times.The first time we had booked a week on the boat and a week on one of the Islands. THe day we were due to change over the Captain called us to his cabin and told us that our Island was over booked . He said we could stay on the boat for a further week or we could still go to the Island. 2 other couples were also made the same offer. We now think the boat was underbooked and she cannot sail with too few passengers. ...

Summer Island Friendly Village

Advantages: Friendly staff, good food, great service
Disadvantages: basic, rooms need updating

We went to Summer Island Village in Jan 07 for 7nights for our honeymoon. It was a holiday to remember. The scenery is surreal, better in real life than in the pictures. The waters are amazingly crystal clear and the hotel was basic but very clean. We stayed in the water bungalow which is found at one end of the island. ...small hut and 2 deck loungers. Our room had a balcony which faces the sunset and has 2 chairs. It also had a clothes line to dry your swimwear which was really handy. The room was basic and does need updating but the bed sheets are cleaned everyday and the towels are changed.
