Just came back from a holiday in Malia Crete, 8 of us guys went for 2 weeks (which is to long btw) and had an awesome time :D
If your after ANYTHING from a holiday other than sun, sex and nightlife then simply dont go to Malia lol... thats ALL there is to do there- but like us 8 lads that was all we wanted!
The place itself is unusual the town only lives for the night and that doesnt start out there til 12 midnight- during the day you will find yourself at the beach or by the pool and there is simply nothing else to do- we were there for 2weeks and we went water park twice and a Cruise other than that ever day was the same!
Food is great out there, hotel food is horrible but if you eat out a meal and a drink is only about 10euros, and at brekie you can get a 2.90euros from almost everywhere!
During the day finding things to fill your time with is difficult- theres a few shops out there that sell day trips to water parks, private islands or a couple of random day trips but if you opt out of these lounging by the pool is relally the ONLY thing left to do!
The beach is also another option while your out there but PR are on there allday trying to sell you sunbeds and drinks- which gets quite annoying when it keeps happening! The water is beautiful and warm amd any sea clear enough to see your feet is worthy in my books!
At night is when it all kicks off though, the PR are slightly annoying as they will attack you at every bar but if you have had a few drinks by then its a good laugh finding different excuses about why your not drinking in their bar lol! The drinks deals work out about 5 euros for 3 drinks and a fishbowl- if there good you get very drunk very quickly- but beware a lot of the clubs water down these drinks quite heavily --- but beware some of the fishbowls we had would barely class as fruit juice! My advice look around and keep trying new places and find the ones you like :D
All in all if your after a cheap party holiday go to Malia! 2 weeks can be done for 700euros per person
If you after somewhere to relax or somewhere with the family DONT GO HERE!

Were booking our summer 2009 holiday in the next few weeks and we were thinking about somewhere in Greece- we'll know not to go here anyway, espescially with 3 children!! xx

Advantages: the night life is amazing and you won't be short of things to do during the day! Disadvantages: quite a violent place but if you keep your heads down you will be fine
