The Hilton hotel at Manchester Airport is one of the nicest hotels that I have every stayed in. It has got all the luxuries possible including a heated swimming pool, air conditioning, room service and a gym. The staff are very friendly and are always willing to help. The hotel has got a very warm atmosphere. The hotel rooms come in a variety of sizes, ranging from a single room to a double or twin room. All the rooms have got their own shower and bath and a colour cable TV, which can also access the internet if you wish to pay 10p per minute. There are no criticisms that I can make about the hotel and I strongly recommend that you stay in it.
Advantages: clean close to airport Disadvantages: poor shower not the comfiest of beds & pillows

The lobby looks very smart and so the staff who are very willing to help.
Our room was just a basic double and was just under £80 for one night.

My only disappointment was the shower as it had very little power.
The room was clean and nicely furnished with a large tv.
For the ladies i would recommend taking your own hair dryer to get the best results.
Our room was booked with a flight from Germany with Last Minute and we had a few problems...

Our holiday
We were supposed to arrive at the Beachcombers hotel on Tuesday evening. At around 6:15pm my mum saw a plane overhead circling Jersey and said to my dad "That'll be Mary" - my dad was not convinced. Of course it was us, and at 6:45pm having refuelled at Southampton airport we headed back to Manchester and spent a night at the Hilton hotel, courtesy of Flybe. It wasn't quite the start to the holiday that we'd imagined as we sat down to dinner in Manchester not in the Beachcombers with my parents and family friends as anticipated!
We arrived at Jersey airport at 10am. Stupidly I hadn't let our pre-paid shuttle bus know about our delay so there was no one there to meet us. We ended up getting a taxi to the hotel which cost £17 - apparently it can vary between £10 and £30. I will try and claim this back from...
