Welcome to The Traffic Centre

Advantages: Lots of high-end shops.
Disadvantages: BUSY, BUSY, BUSY.

The Trafford Centre - of The Traffic Centre as I sometimes refer to it, is a bit shopping complex, that has two floors and is located on the Manchester ring road (the M60), between junctions 9 and 10. The shopping centre has all the big stores - Selfridges, Mark and Spencer's, Debinhams and John Lewis to name but a few. It also has smaller designer shops, female, male and children clothes stores, as well as gift shops and home ware stores. You can ...
...to eat at one of the many restaurants - there are loads available - that range from fast food to nicer, sit-in restaurants. There is lots of parking available and you can also access it by bus. I live close to the Trafford Centre, so it's easy for me to get there and I have also had various part-time jobs within the centre over the years. However I can't stand the place! Don't get me wrong, I think it's a great place to go for a day out every year, ...

M & S Excellent quality of food

Advantages: Great variety of products and excellent quality of food
Disadvantages: High priced products

Marks and Spencer normally connotes good quality products and they tend to be more pricey than other retailers however the quality of the food they sell and their retail products are excellent. I have tried many of the different varieties of food such as the Marks and Spencer Birthday cakes and Victoria sponge cakes which is very tasty and saves money on getting a professional to make a cake. They have excellent choice of childrens birthday cakes ...
...the last minute. I do however feel that some of the products at Marks and Spencers are quite expensive and with the credit crunch I personally dont feel that I could shop there on a regular basis but its a great place to shop for occasions and festivals. ...

The best Arndale Centre

Advantages: Whatever you want you will find
Disadvantages: Should be signs sayng where certain shops are

...I have been going to Manchester arndale for over twenty years from when was a child, i have seen the changes over the years and i can say this is the best the anrdale has looked with new and improved designer shops. You have your cheap shops like Primark all the way up to Armani stores. My brother owns his own hair salon just around the corner from the arndale centre and the amount of people you see peassng his shop on their way to the arndale is ...

...took us to see the Body Worlds 4 exhibition at Manchester Science Museum. I deliberately asked for a new category for this because although it was at the museum it's a short term exhibit and the only real part of the museum we visited. The basic idea is that it is a display of dead bodies which is meant to educate the general public. The Body Worlds exhibition was first shown in Tokyo in 1995 and has since been shown all over Europe and America, with the latest show of Body Worlds 4 being at Manchester Science Museum. The original Body Worlds exhibition contained 25 full body plastinates showing certain parts of the human body in their original ...

It truly is the Theatre of Dreams!

Advantages: Great atmosphere, great club, great stadium
Disadvantages: None

Old Trafford is home to Manchester United, who is one of the best teams in the world. The stadium has a massive capacity of roughly 76,000 and is one of the biggest stadiums in the world! I am very lucky to have seen Manchester United play some games at Old Trafford and have probably seen about 10 different games. Old Trafford is nicknamed the "Theatre of Dreams" and is a brilliant stadium. I think the atmosphere is amazing and when a goal is scored ...
