Simply Perfect
Review of Radisson Edwardian Manchester, Manchester by KELLYLOUJ

Advantages: Great service, ideal location, modern rooms with lots of fab features
Disadvantages: The prices.

...a fantastic rate for the Radisson Edwardian I made my reservation there. I made my reservation over the phone directly with the hotel to secure my rate of £75 for the room for the night, however reservations can be made on their website www.radissonedwardian.com/manchester. *~*Locating the Hotel*~* The hotel is easy to miss on busy Peter Street as the entrance is set away from the pavement; I was armed with maps to ensure that I didn't end up ...
...of glass double doors with Radisson Edwardian etched into the glass. As you enter the hotel you are greeted with the reception area on the left and running through the middle of reception are fantastic leather sofas with complementary newspapers on the tables. As I arrived I was greeted with a friendly smiley staff member eager to check me in. Check in is at 2pm and I had called to advise that I would be arriving later that day and secured the ... Travel lodge - cheap cheerful.
Review of Travelodge Ashton Under Lyne, Manchester by mrsparkinson

Advantages: Cheap, clean, good location, comfy bed
Disadvantages: none for me

We booked the Travelodge for a trip to Manchester, with a £19 per room booking. Myself and my sister arrived there in totally foul rainy weather and had never driven through Ashton under Lyne before and because of this we got a bit lost as it is on the edge of a retail park in a one way system so listen carefully to your sat nav! Anyway, there was a fairly big carpark, and we got a parking space really easily. We were given a room with a view on ...
...double bed, and a single pull out sofa bed, both of which were very clean and comfortable. There was also good tea & coffee making facilities of which we nearly drank them dry! The hotel shared it's carpark with a pub which did good grub, so we went there for our tea. The lady on reception at the hotel kindly phoned us a taxi to take us to our night out. The hotel was quiet given that it was on a main road, and when we arrived back there at midnight-ish, ... Read review

City Inn Manchester
Review of City Inn, Manchester by blaaboy

Advantages: Location, service, food
Disadvantages: Small rooms

...to the centre of the city - Piccadilly Gardens. The staff have always been helpful through my stays. The decor is contemporary and the rooms are finished to a high standard. Every room comes equiped with an Apple desktop computer with free internet acess - a nice touch. Fixture and fitting are all of a high spec and clean throughout. My only grip perhaps is that all the rooms are quite small. The hotel bar is again contemporary in style, but is comfortable ... Read review

Premier, not perfect
Review of Premier Travel Inn Manchester - City Centre (GMEX), Manchester by hiker

Advantages: Location, customer service
Disadvantages: Electrical faults, noise

...- you know the ones: Premier Inn (a.k.a. Travelinn as was), Travelodge, Innkeeper's Lodge. These are the earthbound equivalents of budget airlines. No frills. But you do expect them to deliver on the basics. Premier is probably my favourite of the three. Maybe that's because they've followed up their rebranding with a full-scale refurb of all their hotels. (Maybe it's because my most usual branch of the competition has particular limitations.) ...
...The GMEX Premier Inn is within walking distance. It's located on Lower Moseley Street, opposite the Midland Hotel which faces Manchester Central Station, and only about five minutes walk from Oxford Road station. This is clearly the 'conference centre' of Manchester. The area is littered with hotels (there's another Premier even closer to the station, and a Hilton across the road, and just about everything in between); during the day it bustles; ... Read review

Bewleys
Review of Bewley's Hotel Manchester Airport, Manchester by jad1965

Advantages: close to airport, resaonably price, excellent staff
Disadvantages: bar pricey

We have stayed in this hotel overnight twice, when we have had an early flight, for our annual holiday. We found the hotel very comfortable and good value for money. The staff were exceptionally friendly and very helpful. The room was nicely decorated and very clean and airy, with all amenities. Reception is vast and very inviting. We had a meal in the bar area which was a little pricey, but worth it. There were plenty of minivans to take you to ...
...also arranged to leave our car there whilst on holiday, as we don't like using the terminal car parks, they take the keys off you and give you a receipt, upon return the car had never moved, so we didn't have to trek aroung the back for it. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. ... Read review
