Holiday Inn Express Salford Quays is situated in a very nice location on the waterfront, my room looked out over the renovated canals and docklands which was good. We were greeted by a very friendly receptionist who was very helpful in giving us local information and directions. All the staff were helpful and friendly ( even when we managed to lock ourselves out of our room!) The room was modern and very clean with plenty of coffee, cups , towels ...

Location-wise, it's about 14 minutes on the Metrolink tram from Manchester Piccadilly station on the Eccles line, and from there about a 4-minute walk. ...visited the bar in Manchester Malmaison on several occasions because I love the contemporary but 1920's inspired decor and the cosy atmosphere. But over and above that the cocktail list is the best I've seen anywhere ,from Cosmopolitans to Tom Collins and everything in between , each one made from scratch with fresh juices and garnishings, fabulous. It doesn't come cheap though with the classic cocktails starting at around £8 and a glass of champagne ...
...I would be staying at Malmaison Manchester for work I was very happy , but wondered if the rest of the hotel would live up to expectations. The room rate was £125 per night for a standard double room. Check in was smooth and the staff were very friendly and plentiful. We have stayed in this hotel overnight twice, when we have had an early flight, for our annual holiday. We found the hotel very comfortable and good value for money. The staff were exceptionally friendly and very helpful. The room was nicely decorated and very clean and airy, with all amenities. Reception is vast and very inviting. We had a meal in the bar area which was a little pricey, but worth it. There were plenty of minivans to take you to ...
...also arranged to leave our car there whilst on holiday, as we don't like using the terminal car parks, they take the keys off you and give you a receipt, upon return the car had never moved, so we didn't have to trek aroung the back for it. ****Sachas hotel- Manchester**** I booked this hotel last minute as i had a job interview in Manchester and needed somewhere quite cheap ,that was also near the centre. **Location/Getting there** This hotel is located in Tibb street which is a 2 minute walk from Piccadily Gardens or 10 minutes away from Chorlton street bus station.The Train station is a little bit further away say maybe a twenty minute walk but i don't think that this is that ...
