No problems I thought, I have driving lisence and anyway my card details can be checked. I set off from home for the six hour journey and all went well until I was within spitting distance and then I got lost, very lost! ...
...as you would expect from Holiday Inn. I thought it was pricey for what we got, I paid £89 and to be fair it wasn't very different from a travel lodge or premier inn. Would I stay there again? ...to the centre of the city - Piccadilly Gardens. The staff have always been helpful through my stays. The decor is contemporary and the rooms are finished to a high standard. Every room comes equiped with an Apple desktop computer with free internet acess - a nice touch. Fixture and fitting are all of a high spec and clean throughout. ...- you know the ones: Premier Inn (a.k.a. Travelinn as was), Travelodge, Innkeeper's Lodge. These are the earthbound equivalents of budget airlines. No frills. But you do expect them to deliver on the basics. Premier is probably my favourite of the three. Maybe that's because they've followed up their rebranding with a full-scale refurb of all their hotels. (Maybe it's because my most usual branch of the competition has particular limitations.) ...

It's located on Lower Moseley Street, opposite the Midland Hotel which faces Manchester Central Station, and only about five minutes walk from Oxford Road station. Disadvantages: bar pricey

We have stayed in this hotel overnight twice, when we have had an early flight, for our annual holiday. We found the hotel very comfortable and good value for money. The staff were exceptionally friendly and very helpful. The room was nicely decorated and very clean and airy, with all amenities. Reception is vast and very inviting. We had a meal in the bar area which was a little pricey, but worth it. There were plenty of minivans to take you to ...
...also arranged to leave our car there whilst on holiday, as we don't like using the terminal car parks, they take the keys off you and give you a receipt, upon return the car had never moved, so we didn't have to trek aroung the back for it.
