...if you wanted to, the Radisson has the advantage as if it was pouring down with rain for example, you need not even go outside to reach any of the terminals at all as you can use the skylink that is connected to the hotel. As with my previous recent reviews this forms a part of my need to get a life ethos, and even though I live a short distance from Manchester on a planned night out on the town I decided it was better worth my time staying over than drunkely seeking the nightbus home. Holiday Inn Express Salford Quays is situated in a very nice location on the waterfront, my room looked out over the renovated canals and docklands which was good. We were greeted by a very friendly receptionist who was very helpful in giving us local information and directions. All the staff were helpful and friendly ( even when we managed to lock ourselves out of our room!) The room was modern and very clean with plenty of coffee, cups , towels ...

Location-wise, it's about 14 minutes on the Metrolink tram from Manchester Piccadilly station on the Eccles line, and from there about a 4-minute walk. You cannot miss the hilton as you head towards the airport terminals. As you head to T1&3, it is on the right and you just come off the slip road instead of following the road up to the Terminals. The parking is secure but finding a space can be quite tricky. The lobby looks very smart and so the staff who are very willing to help. ...could not hear noise from anywhere else. My only disappointment was the shower as it had very little power. The room was clean and nicely furnished with a large tv. For the ladies i would recommend taking your own hair dryer to get the best results.
