The Midland Hotel, Manchester
Review of The Midland Hotel Manchester, Manchester by nick.hardie

Advantages: Recently refitted
Disadvantages: They forgot the health club!

Recently stayed in The Midland for one night, and was pleasantly surprised by the recent refurbishment it's undergone. Having not been to this hotel for a couple of years, the changes have really breathed some life back into what had been a crumbling relic. The room was very nice, a good size, and well fitted in terms of what was available and space, as was the bathroom. One complaint I would have was that the mini-bar automatically charges you ...
...didn't dine in either of the two hotel restaurants - The French and The Colony - but they both looked ok, and the buffet breakfast, served in The Colony, was the best I've had at any hotel for a good few years. A good selection of cereals and fruit as well as a selection of standard hot items, which were hot and weren't greasy - which seems quite an achievement in hotels at the moment. The bar areas, while not cheap, were both cosy enough to sit ... Read review

Simply Perfect
Review of Radisson Edwardian Manchester, Manchester by KELLYLOUJ

Advantages: Great service, ideal location, modern rooms with lots of fab features
Disadvantages: The prices.

...a fantastic rate for the Radisson Edwardian I made my reservation there. I made my reservation over the phone directly with the hotel to secure my rate of £75 for the room for the night, however reservations can be made on their website www.radissonedwardian.com/manchester. *~*Locating the Hotel*~* The hotel is easy to miss on busy Peter Street as the entrance is set away from the pavement; I was armed with maps to ensure that I didn't end up ...
...of glass double doors with Radisson Edwardian etched into the glass. As you enter the hotel you are greeted with the reception area on the left and running through the middle of reception are fantastic leather sofas with complementary newspapers on the tables. As I arrived I was greeted with a friendly smiley staff member eager to check me in. Check in is at 2pm and I had called to advise that I would be arriving later that day and secured the ... Great airport hotel
Review of Radisson SAS Hotel - Manchester Airport, Manchester by frankiecesca

Advantages: Nice room and fab location
Disadvantages: can be pricey

The Radisson hotel at Manchester Airport is probably one of the more well known as it has now been there for quite some time and unlike a lot of others around the Airport, hasn't been bought out over the years and renamed. The hotel is set right in the heart of Manchester Airport so that all three terminals are easily accessible from it and it is easy spot if you are coming off of the motorway to the Airport as it is set right at the bottom of a ...
...if you wanted to, the Radisson has the advantage as if it was pouring down with rain for example, you need not even go outside to reach any of the terminals at all as you can use the skylink that is connected to the hotel. This is a big bonus for the hotel! If you are looking for nightlife, you can reach Manchester city centre within 20 minutes by taxi and one of the other Airport hotels in the immediate vicinity has it's own nightclub - if you ... Stag Do Shenannigans
Review of Premier Travel Inn Manchester - Trafford Centre - South, Manchester by Funzo

Advantages: Clean, top location for shopping, reasonably priced
Disadvantages: a pain to get to on a saturday afternoon, thin walls

...hotel I stayed in….. The Premier Inn Trafford Centre Manchester South. Regrettably and with the wonderful benefit of hindsight, I would not have it left to the day of the stag to book a hotel room. Unable to book the Premier Inn City Centre G-Mex hotel where the majority of the party was staying, I hurriedly booked what I thought was a nearby Premier Inn but turned out to be a good 5 miles west of the city centre and in fact perched a stones throw ...
...permitting I would go through Premier Inn's website. I choose Premier Inn because on short functional trips where costs need to be kept down and convenience kept high, I like the 'know what you get' feel about a premier inn. The prices always reasonable and the rooms always clean and comfortable and the Trafford Centre Premier Inn was no different. Booking was easy and credit card details given over the phone in order to ensure reservation. Cost ... Read review

sachas hotel
Review of Britannia Sachas Hotel, Manchester by katie22008m

Advantages: good price,great location
Disadvantages: no window

****Sachas hotel- Manchester**** I booked this hotel last minute as i had a job interview in Manchester and needed somewhere quite cheap ,that was also near the centre. **Location/Getting there** This hotel is located in Tibb street which is a 2 minute walk from Piccadily Gardens or 10 minutes away from Chorlton street bus station. The Train station is a little bit further away say maybe a twenty minute walk but i don't think that this is that ...
...and this goes to quite a few places. You could also get a taxi to the hotel but i am not sure what parking is like if you were to take your own car. **Reception/staff** Since i had never been to Manchester before i phoned and asked the staff for directions -they were very nice and helped me out. When i got there i think i got the same women(was a few days later).Staff member was lovely ,you felt like she actually liked her job/was being genuine.Checking ...
