Regrettably and with the wonderful benefit of hindsight, I would not have it left to the day of the stag to book a hotel room. I choose Premier Inn because on short functional trips where costs need to be kept down and convenience kept high, I like the 'know what you get' feel about a premier inn. The prices always reasonable and the rooms always clean and comfortable and the Trafford Centre Premier Inn was no different. Who turned out the lights?

Advantages: clean, good standard rooms
Disadvantages: Not central, fiddly lighting, and the staff were having a bad day, breakfast

Here's where my troubles began Despite calling me Fiona on the phone and having me spell out my full name when they took my debit card details the e-mail confirmation bore a different initial. Manchester Hotel

Advantages: Godd value
Disadvantages: none

Holiday Inn Express Salford Quays is situated in a very nice location on the waterfront, my room looked out over the renovated canals and docklands which was good. We were greeted by a very friendly receptionist who was very helpful in giving us local information and directions. All the staff were helpful and friendly ( even when we managed to lock ourselves out of our room!) The room was modern and very clean with plenty of coffee, cups , towels ...
...nice dining room, and good length of hours on the Sunday morning in which to get it. Location-wise, it's about 14 minutes on the Metrolink tram from Manchester Piccadilly station on the Eccles line, and from there about a 4-minute walk. Taxi from the city cost us £10 late on Saturday evening, as the Metrolink finishes at 12.30am. Overall I would say it was good value for money and would definatley stay again. ...

****Sachas hotel- Manchester**** I booked this hotel last minute as i had a job interview in Manchester and needed somewhere quite cheap ,that was also near the centre. **Location/Getting there** This hotel is located in Tibb street which is a 2 minute walk from Piccadily Gardens or 10 minutes away from Chorlton street bus station.The Train station is a little bit further away say maybe a twenty minute walk but i don't think that this is that ...

Always Go Back...

Advantages: Fabulous location, polite and friendly staff

I have stayed in this hotel around 4 times, we always go back to this hotel. When i travel to Manchester it is concerts in the MEN arena or for Old Trafford. The hotel is definately in the best loacation, it is 5 minutes from the MEN arena and 5 minutes from the Arndale shopping centre, which is always worth a visit. There are also some bars and clubs across the road from the shopping centre and many pubs outside very nice for sitting outside on ...
...somewhere eg. Old trafford the trams are always on the go very easy to get to and the nearest one is located next to the MEN Arena. The location is absolutely perfect, everything you need is right there. The last time we stayed we were at a concert and were just staying for the one night, but on the off chance when we got there we went to see if we could get some Man Utd football tickets and with a stroke of luck we did.
