Warning for travellers using the travelx facility in Manchester Aiport T1.
I ordered my foreign currency over the internet, and when picking up the cash at the desk, was asked for my card. They then proceeded to charge my card again, even though it had already been charged over the internet.
Just something to be aware of...
The rest of MAN has always been good for me, I use it regularly for business and pleasure, and have never had any complaints.
The facilities are spacious and clean in all three terminals, and the staff (usually!) friendly ad courteous.
Food is on the expensive side, but not too bad compared to average airport places...
Another warning is this drinks dispensers between T1 and T3, buy a bottle of Coke rather than the draught stuff - it's usually flat !
