Teppanyaki is a real treat
Review of Teppanyaki Japanese Restaurant by choklatgirl

Advantages: A fun resaturant with wonderful food
Disadvantages: Access to the restaurant will not be easy for the physically impaired

...Street in Central Manchester, the Teppanyaki Japanese Restaurant is a real find. This was my first visit to a Japanese restaurant and I was more than a little nervous. If the thought of Sushi and Saki fills you with horror, this restaurant will put you at ease straight away. "Teppanyaki dining" refers to a Japanese tradition, where highly trained chefs prepare the meal at your table on a large iron griddle. As someone who can’t cook, won’t ...
...These are well complemented by a selection of wines and alchoholic drinks. Fine food and friendly service and a traditional yet fresh décor, make it easy to understand why the Teppanyaki in Manchester is a winner with both the locals and tourists. Hopefully someone will save me a seat. ... Read review

East meets Est
Review of Est Est Est by sarky_queen

Advantages: great food, good service, wide choice
Disadvantages: hmmm . . .

...we ended up going to Est Est Est purely by chance. I have to say, I'm glad we went - the food was excellent, we had good service, and the crayons to use on the paper tablecloths were a distraction if there was a slight delay! Some people might say that it's quite expensive, but we paid about £40 for 2 starters, 2 main courses, a couple of drinks each AND a bottle of wine. Plus, if you take into account the fact that the food is delicious and is served ...
...and you can add extra toppings, etc. if you want to. I never managed to get to the desserts, although they did look very tempting! All in all, I'd definitely reccommend a visit to Est Est Est, in any of the locations where it can be found nationwide. ... Read review

FLIPPIN FABULOUS FISH
Review of Harry Ramsdens by purdy

Advantages: Excellent quality and standard of food - steeped in history
Disadvantages: Some may feel it is too expensive for take away - also staff could be more cheerful!

...suggested we nip in to Harry Ramsden’s in Belfast. I readily agreed – mmmm fish ‘n’ chips – lovely! This time we visited the take-away. It was around 18.30 on a Saturday evening therefore quite busy. We entered to a queue of approximately 6 other people in front of us. Our order was taken immediately – 2 standard cod meals, with mushy peas please, one with coke and one with fanta lemon! We moved up the queue rapidly, ...
...selling memorabilia – brown sauce harry style! You are served by a waiter/ress who will look after a certain area. What l do like is that with your main course you will get bread and butter – lovely – chip butties! The food is of the same standard as the take away – excellent. Service on my past visits has been fine and l have no complaints whatsoever. THE MENU There is quite an extensive menu, and in the restaurant look ... Read review

see me .. try me .. bite me .. love me
Review of Yo! Sushi, Manchester by thethirdeye

Advantages: fun, quick, hot food available for the squeamish
Disadvantages: not a cheap option if you’re hungry

...led him over to the Yo! Sushi bar; I’d previously sampled the sushi take out lunches available from some of the supermarkets and fancied trying the full monty, but he‘d never tried anything like this before. We were a tiny bit self-conscious, not knowing how things worked, but as we stood there dithering (me wistfully watching the diners who were tucking in and he wishing he could go for a McDonalds), a helpful assistant came over to us. Having ...
...- we were advised that Yo! Sushi can attest to the freshness of their product by keeping track of the history of all their fish, which are laboratory tested, and they don’t keep the cooked rice for more than 2 hours. Thankfully, you aren't expected to know what's what on the conveyor belt which glides before your eyes carrying over 100 dishes - you are provided with a menu. You can help yourself from what’s available in front of you, the prices ... Read review

Review of Revolution by shazzaspannered

Advantages: Classy, Clean and very relaxing, great value deals
Disadvantages: Vegetarians may struggle with menus

...suggested we go to Vodka Revolution at The Plaza, Units 1 + 2 Fitzwilliam Street Sheffield. Located pretty centrally the bar itself specialises in Vodka drinks (hence the name no surprise there). Located in Sheffield's fashionable West One development the bar offers a light and open atmosphere which is welcoming at day or night. The bar is instantly recognisable with full-length glass windows surrounding two sides of the building, giving the perfect ...
