Brasília, the capital of Brazil, was built on a gigantic scale on the Central Brazilian Plateau, a large area which covers a few States in central Brazil. It is part of the federal district so not officially part of any state but geographically it lies within the state of Goiania. Brasilia is a modern city.
At the time of construction full license was given to the planners and architects to build large, innovative buildings and to fully use their freedom of spirit and imagination. Another purpose was to open up the interior of the country to development. This is one reason why the central government was moved there. I first saw Maid In Manhattan a few months ago when it was on the television. I loved the film so much that I decided to purchase a copy of the DVD.

The Victoria Park Plaza in London is an amazing hotel that has very comfortable, quality rooms and staff who are friendly and professional. The best thing about The Victoria Park Plaza is that it is in a prime position just two minutes from Victoria Station and an easy walk to some of London's main attractions. I found it perfect for shopping and buying souvenirs. There were also quite a number of restaurants close by and my mum who cannot walk far didn't complain once. Although we ate at the hotel we also sampled London's China Town.
It is a four star hotel and lives up to the standard. It is situated close to Buckingham Palace, Harrods, Westminster Abbey and Houses of Parliament. The hotel does not allow smoking anywhere near the building which my mum and I really appreciated because we are both none smokers. The smoking ban made ...
