Manila Ocean Park - my wonderful oceanarium experience

Advantages: eye candy
Disadvantages: you can't bring a camera with flash inside the oceanarium - it will scare the fishes away!

Manila Ocean Park (MOP) is a state-of-the-art oceanarium, open water marine habitat, boutique mall, hotel, restaurant row and function facilities all located in one complex. It is located at the back of Quirino Grandstand and near Rizal Park - the most historic place in the Philippines. It is strategically located in Manila Bay - the perfect place in the Philippines for the most romantic sunset. It is just around 30 minutes away from Ninoy Aquino ...
...magnificent view of the historic Manila Bay. There is the Ozeano Restaurant located at the 2nd floor which brings together a variety of cuisines from around the world. A never-to-miss is the souvenir shop. What caught my eyes are the cute nemo stuffed toys in neon colors. There are also other features that I'm sure you want to try (yah, I haven't tried them coz they are new features!). After the long walk in the beautiful oceanarium, you might want ...

A church in its antiquity

Advantages: Located within ancient busy street and free to visit or take pictures
Disadvantages: few vendors outside the church

The Catholic church is located in Intramuros, Manila where one has to pass by the Spanish-built bricked road before entering its parking area. Inside the church, one can see and feel the antiquity of its artistic designs and paintings. Sitting in its solemnity, one could easily notice an antiquely made terrace-like mezzanine which is round and built just beside a post facing the audience or churchgoers. This was where the priest or "friar" stood ...
...one of popular choices of many Filipina brides due to its long aisle, where brides walks down donning their signatured gowns. Lightings were in chandeliers accompanied by sun's rays coming in from translucent side window panes. More so, other tourists ride in 'Calesa', a horse-driven cart to go around intramuros before ending up in this church. So, if you are a Catholic and like antiquity and history, this church is a must-see. ...

An airconditioned church

Advantages: Cooled with airconditioned breeze and getting glimpse of some of the rich and famous
Disadvantages: Just an ordinary church when there is no occasion or aircon.

Manila Cathedral Church is like any other churches in Manila with a plus factor that it is airconditioned. It is much nearer the busy street in Intramuros but with more vendors outside its church and its front. It has five or more steps up to its front entrance that's why people could easily notice if there is someone about to get married because of its traditional wedding entourage lining up at the entrance and parkings of luxury cars of the rich ...
...of the elite to get married because of its location and its airconditioned facility. Like all other churches, it's free for rich or poor churchgoers but charges a fee, higher than others only for special occasions like weddings and baptismal. This is also where the former Cardinal Sin usually officiate masses during special church calendars like Easter Sunday mass, Christmas Eve mass and the likes. So,If you're already around Intramuros, try visit ...

Advantages: Easy to locate, educational and free
Disadvantages: Open field and far parking place

...ago, it was renamed as Rizal Park; at of the present time, this park is now called the Luneta Park. This is where the Philippine's National Hero, Dr. Jose Rizal"s monument was. This monument is being guarded by 2 cadets in shifting day and night, who marches and checks around the monument intervally and alternately. Rain or shine, rest assured the guards are there standing, guarding, and checking until the next shifting guards or cadets come to replace ...
