Advantages: Resturant/food, large pool, casino, not far from harbour
Disadvantages: Views on some sides of hotel, wrong side of puerto banus

I must say that either this hotel has changed its policies or I must disagree with the other reveiwer admittedly there were several downsides to the hotel such as the hotel was the wrong side of the main road in puerto banus, but there were taxis waiting outside the hotel all night, the taxis were expensive but nothing more than you would expect to pay for this area or you could use the underpass route which envolved a short walk to the harbour. ...

...and stayed in the hotel Cortijo Blanco. It was a hotel we had seen on TV Travel Shop, as it was one of their top 10 holiday destinations. LOCATION The hotel is situated in the small spanish village of san pedro de alacantara, which as said by the holiday rep is "untouched by tourism, other than the McDnalds!". The village is around a 15 minute walk from the hotel, however within only a 5 minute walking distance, within sort of a mini village there ...
...little supermarket. In the village there are shops and bars and it has to be said that some of the tapas bars there are amongst the best I have been in, and well worth a try. Just a short walk from the beach and the famous "Golden Mile" in Marbella, this apartment hotel which opened in 1997 is on a road called Avenida Arturo Rubenstein. This hotel is in a perfect location for those looking to go on holiday to Marbella. Backing onto the beach, with sunloungers and parasols provided for free, you can get superb views from your room. We had a side-side view room which gave amazing views looking down the coastline from the balcony. It was larger in size than we were expecting and the bathroom had that wow-factor. The NH Alanda hotel in Marbella is without doubt one of the best hotels I have stayed in and Marbella itself is a beautiful city. ...this fantastic hotel. The NH Alanda hotel with its beautiful pool, four star rating (five in some brochures now I believe) and its 199 rooms looks more like a palace than a hotel.
