Brighton Marina has got 1500 berths. It also provides many activities to enjoy the water, from owning your own yacht to chartering a day trip, and everything in between!
the brighton marina has a wide range of things to do ranging from shopping and having a romantic waterside dinner to a action packed day full of trampoline-ing and bowling.
here are just a few of the atractions to the marina; cineworld(cinema), megaplex bowling and arcade, casino, ... ...to chinese water boat.
there is also a huge range of shops from asda to many outlet stores and watersport stores.
however the maria is a fair walk from the centre of brigthon, and a 10minute bus journey(number 7 bus)!

...There are two Asda's in Brighton - this review is about the Cafe upstairs in the Marina store.
The only way to do this justice is to visit Tescos in Haywards Heath 1st. Then pop to the Marina for lunch.
BrightonMarina is a newish development on largely reclaimed land at the bottom of the cliffs to the east of Brighton. After a slow start in the last century it is becoming more and more prosperous so the Asda store, which was almost the first business to open there, is becoming more and more incongruous. Rumour has it that they are going to extend it as it is always packed.
The Cafe is upstairs and serves hot food daily. I think the best description of the food is 'school dinners'. They do vegetarian meals and good hot food but the food is often stodgy, soggy and overcooked. If you like chips and pasta then this is the place...

...This Cinema is based in BrightonMarina.
The Marina itself has about 4 pubs whereby you can meet freinds prior to seeing a film.
Another benfit of the this cinema is that they provide free parking for people using the cinema facilities.
I also like this cinema as unlike most the cinema's in Brighton nearly all the films are on at the marina rather than just a couple. In total the marina has about 8 screens.
The seats are also comfortable quite low set but with enough leg rooms for two hours!
The wheelchair access is also good the entrance to the cinema is flat and once inside there are ramps to the higher level and lifts if requested.
The food price is normal for a cinema i actually find these prices extortionate. However the size of the pop corn is huge and it is delicious. Also they do provide hot dogs whic...

Advantages: Superb food. Excellent value for money. Truly unique setting. Perfect service. Disadvantages: All smoking tables. Could make you sea sick! If you are disabled, check tide table first.
...on something a little out of the ordinary.
Fortunately my wife and I both share something of a passion for Chinese food and tend to seek out restaurants of an Oriental origin. We have eaten Chinese food all over the country and indeed in her homeland of Poland, where bizarrely chopsticks do not make an appearance even in Krakow or Warsaw.
Our benchmark Chinese restaurant remains the one (whose name escapes me) next to Win Yip - the Chinese supermarket - on the A23 in Croydon. That place was packed with Chinese eating, not cheap either, but the food was sensatiional - the best meal we have had anywhere.
Brighton has its' fair share of Chinese restaurants, good, bad and positively indifferent. I am not going to tell you that we have tried them all, but of the ones we have experienced, the Pagoda in BrightonMarina's West Quay is by far...

Gone are the days that a holiday in a seaside resort was staying in a boring B&B with an strict landlady and having to share a bathroom down the hall usually with extremely dodgy plumbing!
