I was interested in this game having seen the adverts on TV. How cool is that! Mario and Sonic competing against each other.
It does take a while to get used to the actions as I'm still a new player on the Wii but endless hours of fun, sounds are good and amusing and the graphics are amazing and easy to follow.
You can choose to play on your own or with friends. Most games require more than one controller if competing against friends. You can also play as your Mii characters so this game has good flexability.
A great selection of games to choose from especially depending on your own speed and performance. Compete for medals and those that you win are saved.

Mario and Sonic at the olympic games is a selection of fun, unrealistic and tiring olympic events. For, what I believe to be, the first ever the two famous Sega and Nintendo characters mario Sonic will team up together in a game. People would of called you crazy if you said that ten years ago. One of the good things about the game is the large selection of characters, there are sixteen characters drawn from different Mario and Sonic games, plus miis support. (However your mii does look a bit stupid wearing a leotard.) You can't fault the choice of events either, there are twenty different olympics event including, rowing, running, swimming and various field events. Mario and sonic at the olympic games is excellant as it is great for kids and adults alike as there is an event for everyone. You start with only so many events open and then you can go on the circuit to compete in 3 events to start with, come top 3 and open more events up. You find if you can not do one event you will go onto single event mode and practise untill yu can do it. This is because it is addictive to try and get gold and world records which all get saved but is is so good that you have all the characters to choose from e.g mario, sonic, bowser, daisy etc - all with there own abilitys some are all rounders, some are just speed, some are all staminia etc so choose carefully. ...
