What can I say! This was a holiday that was a disaster from the start. Sun Express Airlines - Unsmiling, unhelpful, glum looking lot. We paid more for wider seats with more legroom. OK on the way out but on the way back we we given row 1 A, B and C with a bulkhead in front of us so no legroom. Also these seats were not even as wide as the seats behind us because they had the tray in the armrest. Tried to remonstrate with a hostess and even showed ...
...sit down and shut up. The Antique Palace was the pits. We were given a bill of just over GBP200 for the a/c and safe box as we arrived. The room had not been cleaned and had stains on the floor. The a/c control was hanging off the wall in one bedroom. The bathroom was horrendous. We actually cleaned the room and bathroom as best we could before we went to bed. Anemon hotel,MARMARIS

Advantages: small paradise ,nice and cheap food and clothes,very close to beach
Disadvantages: The hotel was noisy after amidnight.

Pineta Park Deluxe

Advantages: Good staff, nice pool area reasonable rooms
Disadvantages: They overbook frequently and may send you to Pineta Park Club, don't go!!

I am just back from a week at the Pineta Park Deluxe(30/9/07). On arrival at 11pm, after a long flight and bus journey, we signed in to the hotel only to be told we were being change to another "across the road" for one night as there was a technical problem with the room. Bell hop took our cases to Pineta Park Club. This is a dirty hole of a place where the staff are extremely rude. Only reason we managed to sleep was getting as much of the A.I. ...
...room. I kicked up the following morning and by 11.00 was in the Pineta Park Deluxe. This was much better, the staff are all very friendly and the entertainment team good fun. From what we heard during our stay, it seems it is common practice for the hotel to be overbooked and they dump you to the Pineta Park Club. Only by complaining vigorously will get a quick move, normally followed by a bottle of plonk and a basket of fruit in your room. My advice ...

ABSOLUTLY STUNNING!!! WHAT A PLACE!!!

Bargain Holiday

Advantages: Peaceful location, cheap to eat and drink out
Disadvantages: Kind of pricey in the hotel

Myself and my boyfriend stayed here for 1 week in June 2007. We got it for £290 for the two of us self catering. It takes about 1 and half hours from Dalaman airport to the hotel. The hotel is located in the Armutalan area at the top of a steep hill which maybe unsuitable for older people or people with disabilities. The hotel itself is quite large and has a mid sized pool with a bar and restaurant. It also has a shop located near the reception area ...
