Magical Marmaris

Advantages: Cheap - Variety - Sun - THE LIST GOES ON
Disadvantages: Comming home!!

Dolmasi is Stuffed Peppers - So The Domus is like a stuffed bus!! They really do stuff you in so its a great name but not to worry its a great method of getting around. They run reguarly - low season every 10mins mid seaon every 5 mins high season every 3-5 mins. A journey up and down the main road of marmaris would cost roughly around 1 ytl - 1.5 ytl which is about 30p-31p and into Armutalan area would be about the same. The only thing is that the Dolmus stops around 11 pm - 12 am so if your going out at night till the early hours expect to pay taxi fares roughly around the same prices as we pay back home. It is also easy enough to walk around Marmaris resort - even in Armutalan you can walk to the central points if you dont mind a good 20-30 minute stroll. From the Marina to beach bar/restaurants area it will take around 15mins to ...

The marvels of Marmaris

Advantages: cheap, plenty to do, nice weather!
Disadvantages: can get unwanted attention! see op....

My boyfriend managed to secure us a cheap holiday sailing around the Turkish coast, so naturally, I went - partly because of the price, partly because of the company...and partly because I'd heard so much about Turkey and yet had never visited. Marmaris was our last port of call, so to speak. We spent two days moored there, but two days is nowhere near enough if you really want to do everything you possibly can in the area. However, I will tell you about my experience, including the parts which we would have liked to, but sadly didn't have the time to see. Marmaris is one of the most important ...

Welcome To Marmaris.

Advantages: Nightlife, Shopping, Sun, Sea, People
Disadvantages: The beach.

.The shop owners may want to give you something to eat or drink when you enter their shop.we accepted a few times, this doen't mean you are expected to buy anything, they are just being curteous. Marmaris has some of the best shopping in Turkey and is haven for those craving top designer labels at low, low prices. Food. There's a huge variety of restaurants in Marmaris, serving everything from traditional Turkish food, British food and even Indian food. The Netsel Marina is renowned for its fine dining. You have to try some of Turkey's delights, borek is filo pastry layered with cheese or mince or try the popular sigara borek, which are rolled pastries filled with cheese and deep fried. I think all the food in Marmaris was extremely good. There is enough variey to keep you interested for a couple of weeks, you will find some great ...
