This next review is on my time on The Blue Mountains National Park, located in Sydney Australia. A few friends and I had decided to hire a van and take a tour of the national park, as we had been recommended it by several people we had met along the way. I am usually a fan of national parks; it gives you a chance to take in the scenic view, it gives you a chance to relax and unwind if you have had a busy week, and you even get to see some wildlife. It?s a great experience, which allows you to camp overnight, whilst also have a magnificent driving experience.
History & Park Info:
The park covers 267,954 hectares, which included several mountains and rivers along the trek. The highest point of the park is Mount Werong (1,215 m), and there are some breathtaking views from the top. The area became a national park in 1932, and ever since ...
Advantages: Its very clever and its nat half bad! Disadvantages: Its not half good and you wonder whether you love or loathe it!
Well this book is finally finished... yes FINALLY! It took me 8 weeks and its only 536 (well close to that - lol) pages. But it just took me forever to read. Sometimes I would sit and whizz through and other times I'd look at it and think "I'd rather watch crap on the telly!"
Cloud Atlas is the tale of six different characters whose lives intertwine without knowing. Set over six different time periods from way back to a post apocolyptic future. That in itself is no small feat, but also makes it no small read.
The book is also bizarrley set out like a pyramid of storys where you climb up the first half of everyones tale then climb back down. Hang on this'll help... the chapters read:
The Journal Of Adam Ewing
Letters From Zedelghem
Half Lives - The First Luisa Rey Mystery
The Ghastly Ordeal of Timothy Cavendish
An Orison ...
Advantages: A historical building Disadvantages: disappointing and spoilt by the owners

After we had a lovely lunch in the café situated next door to the lodge after a amazing trip around the castle. We were all in high spirits and enjoying our food and refreshments, I dropped the bombshell that I wanted to see the house, they did try to dissuade me as they were now getting slightly tired and wanted to do a little retail ...
