Please consider going elsewhere. Every single person we spoke to in the airport lounge and on the plane on the way back home said "never again". We were totally unprepared for the constant harrassment from the locals, who kept trying to convince you that you needed them as a guide, pretending roads had been closed etc. We met other tourists while there, all very fed up with being conned. on our way home we found several fellow passengers hadn't left their hotel too scared to go out and it was only for the fact our riad just served breakfast that we braved it to get our other meals. The souks try to con you to pay prices far higher for goods than you would in the UK. The whole trip was a nightmare except for our riad which was beautiful and a haven!
