...you will get every drinks over here, but the local drink over here is Feni which is made from Cashewnuts. So if want to try something different then do try it, Goan feni is quite Famous.
Hotels - There are good hotels to stay in goa to name a few which i know are

Oceanic Hotel
and so on, there are other cheaper hotels as well. But the most cheapest place to stay are the rooms offered by the locals out there, they let the rooms in thier houses which compared to Hotels is much Cheaper if you planning to go on a long visit.
The places which you should not miss are
Candolim Beach - you should visit White Horse Shack you all will have a great time there.
Baga Beach - This beach is most of the time crowded , this beach is beautifull, good restaurants and bars & nice people.

Advantages: A great dive school. Reasonable costs for diving Disadvantages: Not first class visibility

Location
Based in the prestigious GOAMARRIOTTRESORT, at Miramar beach. Just 2km from the capital city of Panaji, they are centrally situated for the convenience of divers in the popular tourist areas of North and South Goa. An ideal opportunity, after the morning dives, to visit the famous churches of Old Goa or catch up on some last minute shopping in the city.

- Old goa - Conquistadors and Cathederals (a bus journey away)
- Anjuna beach
- Banbolim beach (a bus journey from Panjim and a long walk down unmade road. Beautiful beach, very private, well worth it.)
- Late night cruises on the river
- Panaji municipal market - for all those bargains
