Advantages: You can see the most amazing view of the harbour. Disadvantages: it is a bit pricey, but it's absolutely worth it!

We couldn't be more wrong, when we arrived at the airport we got a car to the hotel, and I had never seen a better hotel location in ma life, it was exactly like the picture, maybe even better because I was really there, I got so excited, and Sydney has to be the best place for a holiday!
I've still kept the brochure to this day, so I can tell you alot about it: - it has an amazing 32 floors - it has 508 rooms - and 48 suites - it has a great little restaurant, which you can get the best food! - it has a very nice little coffee shop - 24 hour room service - gift shops - cable/ satelite, minifridges, full kitchens in some rooms, phones (can make international calls) and many more! - spa, indoor pool, solarium, health club, sauna, massage rooms, jogging, tennis, squash, beach, sailing, water- skiing, jet- skiing e.t.c
And if your going for a holiday then there are attractions and landmarks very near by.
So to conclude it is one of the very best hotels in Sydney, and it should be visited...
Advantages: Central location right next to the Harbour Disadvantages: Fairly pricey
I visited this hotel in April 2005 when visiting Australia. Great central location with views from many of the rooms of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House.
Only a minutes walk from the harbour so you are right in the action!
The hotel had recently been refurbished and was really classy. Staff very friendly and helpful. My room was spacious and comfortable.
I had a fantastic view of the Opera House from the room and I could watch the ...

Advantages: Freindly Staff, Great Rooms Disadvantages: standard price is a little steep
The Marriot is truly situated well within the city of Sydney. The only reason I went there is because I booked into a hotel somewhere else in the city, but it was filthy, dingey and there was no way I was going to stay there. The marriot had a few spare rooms, so we checked in. We were there in July (low season) and there was plenty of room to negotiate the rate with the manager. I would advise this in low season as we saved a packet.
The staff ... ...even arranged for us to go to a big rugby league match. We did not have breakfast included, but that did'nt matter as there are loads of good places to go in the city for food.
The rooms were spacious and unbeleivably comfortable. The health club was well equiped with high quality aperatus. Next time that I'm in Sydney (if there is a next time) I will certainly go out of my way to stay there. ...

Advantages: FANTASTIC REWARD SCHEME Disadvantages: It's still a chain hotel !
- £0.00 - yes, absolutely right - this did not cost us even one penny. All car hire, flights, accommodation and breakfasts were 'bought' using my Marriott Rewards. What a great honeymoon.
Since then, we have also redeemed rewards for 2 weeks in Sydney Australia in a Junior Suite in one of Marriott's partner hotels, 6 x 2 night stays in various parts of the UK, over 10 'on the way to the airport' overnight stays, which are great if you've got an early flight to catch. I've also just booked for 7 nights on the Gulf Coast of Florida in November. I've still got some rewards left, although probably only enough for 3 or 4 odd nights somewhere; but in my opinion, this is by far the very best chain hotel reward scheme.
Unfortunately, I'll have to use hard cash for the next big holiday - but I suppose I've had it lucky over the last few ...
