2 years ago, me and my Dad decided that we needed a long holiday, we wanted somewhere warm (to get away from the dreadful weather of England) and some place very far... Money was a problem, but we decided that if we wanted a holiday to remember it would have to be luxury, so we decided on Sydney... as far away as we could get, down under!!! We looked through many brochures and many websites, to look for a fantastic place to stay, I have to say the most appealing was the Marriotts. The pictures showed the most amazing habour, the water sparkling a lovely crystal blue, and all the buildings surrounding it looked magnificent, like it was coated with shine, the picture did not look real. We decided to go for it even though we knew it would be less than we hoped for, we thought the brochures had comercialised it and with a computer changed the picture so it looked more appealing... We couldn't be more wrong, when we arrived at the airport we got a car to the hotel, and I had never seen a better hotel location in ma life, it was exactly like the picture, maybe even better because I was really there, I got so excited, and Sydney has to be the best place for a holiday!
I've still kept the brochure to this day, so I can tell you alot about it: - it has an amazing 32 floors - it has 508 rooms - and 48 suites - it has a great little restaurant, which you can get the best food! - it has a very nice little coffee shop - 24 hour room service - gift shops - cable/ satelite, minifridges, full kitchens in some rooms, phones (can make international calls) and many more! - spa, indoor pool, solarium, health club, sauna, massage rooms, jogging, tennis, squash, beach, sailing, water- skiing, jet- skiing e.t.c
And if your going for a holiday then there are attractions and landmarks very near by.
So to conclude it is one of the very best hotels in Sydney, and it should be visited...

Good review. Perhaps needs a bit more info on how close it is to local attractions (e.g. Opera house, shops, etc). If you decide to add to this review, let me know in my guest book and I will re-read and re-rate. Yvonne
