The Marriot is truly situated well within the city of Sydney. The only reason I went there is because I booked into a hotel somewhere else in the city, but it was filthy, dingey and there was no way I was going to stay there. The marriot had a few spare rooms, so we checked in. We were there in July (low season) and there was plenty of room to negotiate the rate with the manager. I would advise this in low season as we saved a packet. The staff were freindly and very helpful. The conciege was fantastic and even arranged for us to go to a big rugby league match. We did not have breakfast included, but that did'nt matter as there are loads of good places to go in the city for food. The rooms were spacious and unbeleivably comfortable. The health club was well equiped with high quality aperatus. Next time that I'm in Sydney (if there is a next time) I will certainly go out of my way to stay there.
