We stayed at this Marriott Hotel in Peterborough for the night about a month ago now because we had been invited to a friends wedding there at the hotel.
This hotel has 162 rooms and it is a 3 star hotel.
The location is really tranquil and the hotel is surrounded by really nice pretty gardens and large green fields.
We paid £90 for a double room and we got a discount for being guests at the wedding, i think ... ...100% sure so you would need to chack this.
Its set within 11 acres or so of grounds adjacent to Peterborough's Main Business Park, we found this hotel really easy to find and very well signposted.
We found the staff to be really friendly but extremely professional and helpful at all times.
We got checked in really quickly and within 5 minuites we were in our room.

The hotel has a large, free carpark at the side of the hotel with hundreds of spaces for their customers who are staying there.
The rooms are really clean and spacious and we had a large en suite bathroom and air conditioning, mini-bar, high-speed Internet, and tea and coffee making facilities and room service was avialable 24 hours for hot and cold food. The beds are really comfortable and are very spacious.
This hotel is known as the area's leading venue for business events, weddings and parties. The staff really went out of their way for our friends wedding to ensure eveything went smoothly and everyone had a lovely day.
This hotel has many facilities including a Leisure Club with a large gym, theres also a large, heated indoor swimming pool, a seperate children's pool, sauna, steam room and whirlpool at the side of the pool, there is also a beauty salon offering various relaxing treatments such as facials and massages ....... The pool was a nice large size and it was really warm, there is also comfy loungers that you can sit in if you just want to spectate or read a book .
We found the food to be of excellent quality and really fresh, they serve international cuisine in 'Laurels', and they serve cocktails and bar food at the 'Cocktail Bar' which has a really nice relaxed atmosphere.
The hotel is really close to the large Queensgate Shopping Mall where there are hundreds of well known shops and lots of cafe and resturaunts and its also close to the Nene Valley Railway .
We would highly recommend this hotel to all and we would definately go back there in the future as the food was great, the rooms were clean and very comfortable and the hotel has nice facilities, we thought this hotel seemed more like a 4 star than a 3 star.
