This is the best hotel that I have stayed in anywhere in the world (so far)
The first thing about the hotel is that it is a nice tall building so it is easy to spot when you are approaching it.As soon as you step inside it is amazing, the first time I went there i was totally amazed to see the inside of the hotel, I had not imagined that it would be so impressive.
The first thing that you see is a nice big arrangment of flowers framed by pillars with full lenght mirrors on them. If you are luck they might be a trip in the corner playing some soft music.Checking in is very easy and you are issued with key cards to get about in the lift and to get into your room.
I have stayed in a few different rooms. The basic room, a corner room, and a bi level suite. any of these room you will be impressed with. They have a good amount of things in the room, very comfy beds and a great view of the city, a desk and a good size TV and a phone. A big wardrobe with full lenght mirrors and a safe (free usage) and a mini bar (sadly not free)You can ring up reception and ask for them to send up bath robes and slipper which are lovelly to ware.
The corner room you get a big bathroom which is on the corner of the hotel so you get some good views. The bi leve suit is on the 40th and 41st floor and is very very nice. it has a nice lot of space with the best views of the city and if you get to see the sunset it is really impressive.
There are a good amount of restaurant in the hotel and they are all good. If you fancy a good livelly meal then champions is the place to go, it has lots and lots of TVs everywhere most showing different sports. The restaurants are not the cheapest places in Warsaw but if it is cold and snowing outside it is a great place to hang out.The Marriott is located near the centre of Warsaw and just across the street is the railway station. Trams and buses stop right outside the hotel so you can head strait for the center.
If it is a bit wet or nasty outside there there are some underground shops that are good to have a look round but the best place to head for is the old city. It has lots of nice shops and some great buildings.
Warsaw is an amazing city with an amzing history and well worth a visit.
The whole hotel is brilliant nothing is ever too much trouble and I cannot speak highly enough of the hotel and the staff. I have yet to find a fault with it.
