This is the best hotel that I have stayed in anywhere in the world (so far)

The first thing about the hotel is that it is a nice tall building so it is easy to spot when you are approaching it.

As soon as you step inside it is amazing, the first time I went there i was totally amazed to see the inside of the hotel, I had not imagined that it would be so impressive.

The first thing that you see is a nice big arrangment of flowers framed by pillars with full lenght mirrors on them. If you are luck they might be a trip in the corner playing some soft music.

Checking in is very easy and you are issued with key cards to get about in the lift and to get into your room.

I have stayed in a few different rooms. The basic room, a corner room, and a bi level suite. any of these room you will be impressed with. They have a good amount of things in the room, very comfy beds and a great view of the city, a desk and a good size TV and a phone. A big wardrobe with full lenght mirrors and a safe (free usage) and a mini bar (sadly not free)
The bathrooms are very nice which include a hair dryer and all the normal array of soaps and shampoos also a bottle of water.
The shaving point in the bathroom is contential so be warned to take an adaptor!
In the room there are British plug sockets but it would be worth taking an adaptor just for more sockets.

You can ring up reception and ask for them to send up bath robes and slipper which are lovelly to ware.

The corner room you get a big bathroom which is on the corner of the hotel so you get some good views.

The bi leve suit is on the 40th and 41st floor and is very very nice. it has a nice lot of space with the best views of the city and if you get to see the sunset it is really impressive.

There are a good amount of restaurant in the hotel and they are all good. If you fancy a good livelly meal then champions is the place to go, it has lots and lots of TVs everywhere most showing different sports. The restaurants are not the cheapest places in Warsaw but if it is cold and snowing outside it is a great place to hang out.
One place you must go is the Panaroma club on the top floor which is the 40th and 41st floor. This is a very nice relaxed bar with a great atmosphere, often they have live music. It is a poshish place so it is always worth wearing a shirt (no need for a tie) if heading up there. If you have been out for a romantic meal then this is the place for a nightcap. It offers the best views of Warsaw and it is the only place to sit at the end of the evening.

The Marriott is located near the centre of Warsaw and just across the street is the railway station. Trams and buses stop right outside the hotel so you can head strait for the center.
If it is a bit wet or nasty outside there there are some underground shops that are good to have a look round but the best place to head for is the old city. It has lots of nice shops and some great buildings.

I would suggest that Warsaw is great for a short city break. The Marriott is an expensive hotel but at the weekend it is very affordable. We found out on our first trip to Warsaw that you can pay not a lot less for a very low quality hotel so it is worth going for a good well known hotel.
At the weekend the price can start from about £60 a room per night and normally you can get four people in the room. Also if booking get a room that includes breakfast. They are amazing and have basically anythign you can think of. and there is normally a person that will cook you omeltts or waffels.

Warsaw is an amazing city with an amzing history and well worth a visit.

The whole hotel is brilliant nothing is ever too much trouble and I cannot speak highly enough of the hotel and the staff. I have yet to find a fault with it.
