Stay at the Holiday Inn on Parado
Advantages: nice area of Marseille -not too far from the beach
Disadvantages: all shops & restaurents close early.

Stay at the Mercue
Advantages: clean, Cheap and freindly
Disadvantages: No drink making facilities in room - only the mini bar
...the hotel restaurant.
There are 2 elevators in the hotel and having stayed in the Mercure on many occsaisions have never suffered with etiher elevator being out of order. so to sum up, for a short stay in Marseille the Mercure is very suitable. ...
