Advantages: Lots of kids activities Disadvantages: busy at half term when theres no parking spaces.
...I used to work in London and enjoyed a trip or two to Holland park in Kensington. The kids loved it with the great big sand pit, swings, slides and various other play stuff, they used to take their buckets and spades and dig up all the sand....great fun.Lots of benches to sit at and watch and a nice little cafe to have a drink and whatever else you might fancy.
Holland park was also great for walking and there were a few animals to look at on the way,I can remember ducks, swans, peacocks and squirrels.
It was quite a busy place with kids, dog walkers, footballers, tennis players, etc. It was even busier at half term when all the children were off school and there was no where to park so I wouldnt recommend this time of year.
Parking is fairly cheap being that its in the center of London and the rest of the city is so expensive to park your...

Advantages: loads of good rides including the kiddies ones Disadvantages: not enough english signs there
...Hi
Just about two months ago I went on holidays to Holland with Travelscope. The main thing for me was to go to Six Flags as I love Looney Tunes and Theme Parks and I was very impressed. and there was a couple of characters from Warner Bros which you could have had a picture with including my favourite Taz. As you walk down ,the first ride you see is Superman The Ride and if you'd carry on forward you would see a massive ferris Wheel in front of you and loads of routes...

BEER: Heineken and Amstel are often perceived as competitors, but Amstel is actually a brand of Heineken Corp...

I first saw the film, Mr Holland’s Opus, when it was released in 1995. My three children and myself were all taking piano lessons at the time and were all eager to watch this. As I was contemplating writing the review this morning, I asked my son (just... more
