Advantages: Natural surroundings, lots of species, excellent value for money Disadvantages: None
...I visited Borneo and KualaLumpur last year and being a massive fan of animals, myself and my boyfriend visited all the animal related attractions. One of these was the KualaLumpur Bird Park.
Where Is It?
KualaLumpur Bird Park is situated in the Lake Gardens area of KualaLumpur which is close to the Orchid Gardens and the Tun Abdul Razek Memorial. The bird park is a little bit out of the main town in KualaLumpur as we did try to follow a map and find our way there on foot but after getting lost and asking a couple of locals which way we needed to go, they told us we would be better getting a taxi. So get a taxi we did and good job too because it was about a 15-20 minute journey to the Bird Park. The Lake Gardens area where the Bird Park is situated also have many other attractions such as The Deer Park, Orchid & Hibiscus Garden...

Advantages: Full of shopping centres, reasonable cost in expenses Disadvantages: Bad traffic system, lack of safety
...KualaLumpur is capital of Malaysia and now developing fast to become a modern place and central area for Malaysia residents and foreigners. KualaLumpur is now climbing up in all the areas including economics, socials, tourism. As a Malaysia, i had travelled to KualaLumpur for more than ten times. I always travelled to KualaLumpur by bus where it took 5-6 hours to reach there from Siangpore. It is a nice place to travel where there is alot of shopping centres and entertainment areas including night activities. The expenses in KualaLumpur is also reasonable. Anyway, traffic system in KualaLumpur is not so satisfactory. The transport in this town is also confusing and u will be lost if you are not accompanyed by someone familiar with the roads in KualaLumpur. The social problems in KualaLumpur are also wide. Travellers must not walk...

Advantages: Larger than life bustling city, lots to do and see Disadvantages: Not for anyone who likes an early night, long flight
...My self and my boyfriend stayed in KualaLumpur for three nights in October this year and had a wonderful time.

A flight direct from Heathrow to KualaLumpur would take about 13 hours and many people choose to do stop overs in KualaLumpur, as it is very easy to fit into any package deal. The main reason we decided to include a stopover in KualaLumpur (often called KL) was because it was offered to us at a very cheap price, £8 per night per person and we thought it would break up our flight home.
ACCOMADATION
We stayed at the 4 star Capitol Hotel which was right smack bang in the middle of town. We found this to be an excellent location as we...
