When I went down there last year, half of the roads were closed off and there were tens of stages, with live music being played all ... ...it, as it's like the city turns into one big free music festival. Last year, the local radio station, Radio City, held the "Party at the Pier" to coincide with this event - so there was a mixture of all kinds of music, from 60s right through to pop.
