This is one nightclub that has been going downhill for over 2 years now
The things that made it special are now gone with Gary Hypnotic and Andy/Debbie D choosing to go nearly fully commercial trance and hardhouse
If you like this new commercial music then its defintly for you
This nightclub sounds just like any other nightclub now except for the MC's...which btw sound awful over trance music.
Its not the nightclub itself its the 2 promotions teams that run it
Hypnotic seemed to have forgotton what oldskool is nearly and lie about a 80% oldskool 20% new tunes...which in reality means 2 oldskool tunes and the rest new cheesey rubbish
The biggest casualty is the Zone......from becoming the northwests best kept secret....ever since Andy D got his claws into the scene after the loss of Phil the Zone name has plumeted to depths of crapness by allowing himself to be rules by the money and commerciality of the naff scene nowadays
The original fans have been completely ignored by the team in their wishes to have a set night just for themselves once every couple of months..but no
Im suprised whatsit from the Zone website hasnt changed his name from Zoneraver to EX-Zoneraver like me after all of the hassle he has had
The Zone family feeling has gone..dashed by the team itself
Melody house has now taken to looking after the Zone family and if the rumours are correct a Melody House website might be implemented soon
